Something that’s giving me hope going into election day is… honestly the convos I had when phone banking. I had some really, really great chats with voters in Michigan, which we actually debrief a little bit about on the pod. If you have time before e-day, highly rec phone banking. It really makes a difference. -Maddie

Something that I think should be on people’s radar going into next week… is to not jump to conclusions. We’re all anxious AF obviously, and want to know the results ASAP. But it’s not over until it’s over, and don’t make assumptions. Also know that you’re a bigger influence to your friends than you realize, so what you pass onto them will trigger a chain reaction. -Maddie

Something I will do if VP Harris wins is… be screaming it from the rooftops for an undetermined but substantial amount of time. And sleeping, like at some point, sleeping. -Maddie

Something that everyone should send to the group chat is… this resource list of election protection phone numbers to add to their contacts. If you have an issue, like getting turned away at the polls for example, call the number relevant to you. Saving these numbers in your contacts will also be beneficial elections you vote in BTW. -Maddie

Something that’s giving me hope going into election day is… seeing all of the moms and daughters voting together via TikTok! It’s so cute and just raises the vibes. -Sammy

Something that I think should be on people’s radar going into next week… is that Republicans are already trying to set that stage for claiming voter fraud. They truly need hobbies, but here we are. Drown out the noise, focus on the facts and the data. And with that, be cognizant of where you’re getting your information from [always], but especially next week. -Sammy

Something I will do if VP Harris wins is… order a massive German Chocolate Cake to celebrate. Apparently she gets one for her birthday every year, which like amaze choice, but also my fave as well. So. If anyone knows a bakery in the city that does German Chocolate Cake, LMK because I’ve yet to find a place that has it. Oh, and also obvi go party in the streets with everyone! -Sammy

Something that everyone should send to the group chat is… this quick scroll through which states have same-day voter registration! Some have funky rules and exceptions, so def check it out and if you have a friend that isn’t registered and can be i.e. can go vote, let them know ASAP. -Sammy

The cutest, best Halloween costume award this year goes to…this Kamala in training. For second place, we have to give it to whoever transformed this tent into a mega-sized Harris Walz camo hat.

For something that one might think is a costume, but is just reality – Donald Trump in a neon orange work vest trying to climb into his decaled garbage truck. Him and JoJo Siwa appear to have similar styles!

Based on the original hit “Kamala’s at a dance party with Beyoncé,” we now have choreographers working on a Trump the musical.” For the record, this is a joke/trend.
